Buckles are won and stories are told, but when were all gone and there’s no one around to keep those stories alive, all that’s left are the buckles and pictures. Imagine a twelve year old boy handing his 82 year old grand-daddy whose memory is slowly fading an old rodeo picture. He takes it from his grandson with his calloused hands and he looks at the boy with his sun worn eyes that could practically pierce through the soul. With a large grin and a nod of the head he can recall every detail of his silver shaded buckle he won on Old Glory and yet his memory ate up he can barley recall what he did yesterday. But that one single picture brings back every flooding, scared up, worn out memory of the day he met Cheyenne.

If that was my signature on the back of that picture, I know I have done my life’s passion. Over the past 3 years of chasing the circuit, I have found more than I ever thought; a passion for the sport of rodeo. Today I travel various open pro rodeo circuits not only capturing the soul of the cowboy but also learning the Heart, Heritage, and Life of the Cowboy.
